Anthony Walters
Anthony provides the vision and direction that defines Christchurch as MD and Principal and also heads up the Investment Management team.
Having joined the Christchurch Group in 1994, he acquired full Shareholder Control of Christchurch Investment Management Ltd in October 2004.
He started his career with a firm of stockbrokers in 1971 as a ‘Blue Button’ on the Stock Exchange floor, was invited to membership of the Stock Exchange in 1976 and subsequently became a Fellow of The Securities Institute.
Anthony is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status recognising the importance of a professional service to clients and the importance of inspiring others to continually improve their knowledge and servicing skills
When not working Anthony enjoys golf and cricket and is a member of the MCC.
David Thornberry
David Thornberry has over 20 years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, more than 10 of which with Christchurch and is now a Director of the Company
David is the team mortgage finance specialist and has extensive knowledge and experience in sourcing and placing residential, commercial and lifetime mortgages (including equity release), ensuring the best solution to clients’ borrowing requirements.
David has built up a wide range of both personal and corporate clients with established links to several major law firms, providing financial planning for partners and their clients.
In his younger days David spent many years in the ‘front row’ for Old Merchant Taylors Rugby Club, but is now content to offer helpful advice to today’s players from the safety of the touch line.
Terry Eyles
Terry has nearly 25 years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser. He is qualified to diploma level with the Personal Finance Society and is a member of the Pensions Management Institute.
Terry has a wealth of experience in retirement planning and is the firm's pension specialist;(G60 qualified). He deals with the technicalities relating to Self Invested Pension Plans (SIPPs), pension drawdown arrangements, company schemes and is qualified to advise on pension transfers.
Despite the Government's attempts to simplify the world of pensions, the changes introduced on ‘A’ Day require an even greater level of expertise and Terry is able to make a potentially complex subject simple to understand.
He enjoys spending time with his young family, and when time permits his interests include skiing, real tennis, swimming and walking the dog!
Tony Shah
Tony has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years and is a Member of the Personal Finance Society by Certificate. He has held a number of senior positions with a leading UK based National and International adviser and was the European Director managing teams based on mainland Europe as well as in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Throughout his career in management Tony has always maintained regular contact with his clients as he believes that financial planning is people business and developing long term relationships is the key to provide quality service.
Tony has extensive knowledge on both the UK and offshore markets which is essential as tax and investments are now much more complex for the international mobile client.
Brian Graham
Brian has been with the company since 1991 and is a general practitioner with over 30 years experience still advising many of his original clients and subsequently their families.
In addition to his personal financial planning practice, Brian advises a number of corporate clients on Group Pensions and Group Risk. He also coordinates corporate investment work on behalf of his clients, working closely with the CIM investment team who provide the investment expertise.
Brian is a keen sportsman and through the years was an amateur boxer and also played tennis and football to a high standard. More recently Brian participates in sport as a keen spectator at live events wherever possible.
Keith Perry
Graduate, practicing investment related financial planning for more than 20 years, Granted Chartered status in 2007 having been an Advanced Financial Planner since 1995.
A member of the Christchurch team for more than 10 years, now specialising in WRAP investments with special emphasis on Asset Class Investing.
A strong client service ethos ensures productive, valuable and enduring client relationships.
Married and outside of work actively involved in the sport of triathlon as a coach, competitor and race official. Passionate about food and cookery even roasting his own coffee beans!
Zetra Puddick
Zetra holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, including the Certificate in Equity Release and is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status. A graduate in Civil Engineering, she joined the industry in 1994 and has been a member of the Christchurch team since 1997.
In addition to assisting with our office based financial planning service, Zetra heads up research providing valuable information services to the firm and its clients. She also acts as the firm’s Compliance Manager, overseeing the day to day aspects of regulation and compliance.
Richard Driver
Richard joined the Christchurch team in 2010 as a Paraplanner and brings with him over 30 years experience within the financial services industry dealing with both private and corporate clients.
The addition of a specialist Paraplanner has provided much needed support in the areas of research, report writing and client liaison and has helped the advisers build on our already high level of service.
In his spare time he continues to be a lifelong Chelsea supporter and enjoys golf and collecting and renovating old electric guitars. |
